Features of Honda Livo

You will know about all the features of this amazing bike by reading below in the insightful and unbiased Honda Livo review.

Design and Style

Honda Livo has a sleek and sophisticated design, matching to the CB Twister from the front and CB Unicorn from the side. The brand logo is featured on the extended cowl near the tank. The tank is given a muscular look whereas the rear looks impressive and smart. Overall, Honda Livo looks attractive, making it a good choice for first time buyers.

Instrumental Console

Honda Livo’s instrumental console has been given a different and a unique design. The console is shaped as an enclosing boundary that makes hexagonal arrangements twice. It has an analogue system and lacks a tachometer. The average looking console has been named as out of the box console by Honda. The left hexagone features speedometer and odometer whereas the right hexagone features the fuel gauge.

Engine and Performance

Honda Livo offers the same engine that featured in Honda 110. The 109.19 cc engine produces 8.2 BHP @ 7500 rpm and 8.63 NM @ 5500 rpm. The bike has a 4-speed manual transmission system. Honda Livo is perfect for Indian roads as it is 180mm above the ground.

Brakes and Suspension

The rear part of the bike is equipped with a drum brake that measures 130mm whereas its disc brake measures 240mm. The bike also comes with optional disc brake for the front. However, it lacks the combination braking system usually seen in Honda bikes. The bike features telescopic forks in the front and the spring loaded hydraulic at the rear which handles the suspension activity. The bike has average braking power but offers a comfortable ride due to its upright seating position and reasonable seat height.

Mileage

Mileage of the bike is around 74 kmpl which is outstanding considering how costly fuels these days are. Capacity of the fuel tank is around 8.5 liters, a full tank will last at least 550 km on a single refilling.

Shades

Honda Livo is available in 7 different shades that include: Athletic Blue Metallic, Sunset Brown Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Black, Imperial Red Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. From these colors, Imperial Red Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic were introduced recently by Honda due to public demand.

Variants

Honda Livo comes in two different variants and you can choose any of them you like – one that features a disc brake and another without a disc brake. Both the variants come with self-start and Black alloys as standard. If you can just increase your budget by a small amount, you can buy the disc brake version which is a safer option than the other one.

Pricing

The disc brake version of Livo is priced at INR 56,000 whereas drum brake version costs around INR 53,500. Although the pricing will differ as per your dealer but these are the official prices by Honda. The prices for both the versions are pocket friendly and suitable for the average earning group.

The Last Words

Honda Livo is an affordable bike for a middle class earning person. The features and specs promise you much more than the price you pay for it. So you can choose to buy it after carefully reading through the Honda Livo review.
