Good Place to Hire a Driver

I had been looking to hire a driver in Bangalore for some time, The first thing I did when we decided to hire someone was a quick internet search to shortlist a few job portals to post in and find a few Facebook groups through which people got leads. I registered in more than a few job portals in the first week of job search. I started getting a lot of calls within a few hours of posting, some were good leads while a lot where people applying without taking a proper look at the job description. I think the lack of a filtering mechanism so that only the right people called me, was missing in most of the digital portals.

This search on digital platforms and social media went on for about two weeks, meanwhile I was also in touch with some offline recruiters and friends who may know someone, One of the friend’s who runs an SME had suggested Babajob to me, but by the time I had almost given up on hiring through digital platform. About a month in, I still did not see an end to this hiring problem and this was frustrating me.  I decided to give Babajob a shot at around this time and posted a job on their website.

I had received a couple of calls from interested people when I got a call from Babajob, asking me if I needed an upgrade to a better plan that promised faster hiring, It seemed convincing and I signed up for the upgrade to a plan called Rapid hire plan. The quality of the leads who called after upgrading the plan was a lot more better than what I had experienced through previous digital platforms. I actually scheduled a couple of interviews in the first 24 hours of the upgrade, and to my welcome surprise, most of the candidates were above average. I hired the man I was looking for in about 3 days after that. Pretty good experience overall.

One of the things that really stood out was the efficiency of the support staff who guided me through the entire process, I was updated on a regular basis without having to login to the website every time.
