{MAH 12th Results} MAH HSC Result 2017 – Maharashtra Board HSC Result 2017

Yes! The Maharashtra Board HSC official results date is finally here, Maharashtra board has over 14 lakh students appearing for the HSC exam Results. Usually the results are out after 11am to between 4 pm. This year as always, the time for the results to be out is not announced yet but it is probable that it will be appearing within the same time slot.

Know More About Maharashtra Board

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education, Pune came into existence on January 1, 1966 to regulate certain matters pertaining to secondary education in the state of Maharashtra, India. The act was amended in 1976 and the name of the Board changed to its present name — The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

The exams are conducted in February and March and results declared in the last week of may or starting of June. In March 2000, 1.44 million students from 13,835 schools gave the SSC examination and over 800,000 students from 3,581 schools/colleges gave the HSC examination. The exams are conducted throughout the state of Maharashtra, and students studying in the Government-run High Schools are required to give this examination for further Secondary Education, for which the admission is given on the basis on merit.

This year, the examinations were held on the 21st of february and ended on the 17th of march.

Know About This Year’s HSC Results

As after the results, students have to collect the temporary certificate and temporary mark sheet, so that can be done after 7 days of results, and those papers must be collected from the schools.

If in case a student is not happy with the marks in a particular subject or in all the subjects, he/she can definitely demand a revaluation. There is a simple procedure to follow to demand revaluation.

Know how To Request for revaluation

Yes, sometimes you know that what you have scored is less than what you had expected, nobody knows your potential better than you. The requests for revaluation are always welcomed by the board.

For filing a request, the student has to fill an online application, submitted along with the prescribed fee and a copy of the original mark sheet. Yes, until you have your original mark sheet in your hands, you can not claim for revaluation of the papers. So be ready with all of the above and your work will be done.

It can be done by any of the following ways, i.e.

  • School wise (where the student has to put the school code)
  • Name wise or (where the student has to put in individual roll numbers)
  • Roll number wise.

Know How to Check The Result

  • First, Logon to mahresult.nic.in, type this web address in the url column.
  • There will be a box appearing in the center of the page, enter the unique roll number you appeared in the exam with.
  • Click on to the ‘submit, button to send over the roll number.
  • After receiving that, the results will show on your screen.
  • Use the “Print” command to take a print out of the online result sheet (which we recommend you should keep)
  • Your marks in each subject will appear in front of the name of that subject and under all, the total marks will also show.

A note to the students:  If you see not what you expected, you must not be disappointed, there is so much more to your life than the exam results, be happy with what you have scored as you know nobody can change that, but what can be changed in the future related to your career is still in your hands.
