4 Ways To Convert Your Articles To Videos And Post Them On Youtube

As the world of content marketing is growing by the day, video marketing is shaping up to be the next big thing. The fact about this is that those who get in early enough will be the ones to reap its benefits the most.

4 Ways To Convert Your Articles To Videos And Post Them On Youtube

Even though it is not on the full-blown scale yet, video content is going there soon.

Does that mean you should do away with blog posting? Absolutely not! However, we believe you can do so much more to make your blogs in line with your videos. In a nutshell, we are talking about converting your blog posts to videos.

By so doing, you will be able to reach another type of audience, present your content to people on-the-go and generate links back to your website/ blog. Sounds like a neat idea, doesn’t it?

We will be showing you four ways by which you can convert your blog posts into YouTube videos. For the sake of this post, we will be focused on the Lumen software.

1. Register with Lumen

Lumen is one of those text-to-video conversion tools that you will find on the internet but with an awesome spin to it.

The first thing that made us choose this platform for you is that you don’t require any technical know-how to get things done. Likewise, the service gives you the opportunity to import your blog post directly before making a video of it. Did we mention that the service comes free of charge too?

Head over to the company’s website and register with your name, email address and password.

2. Import Blog Post

Now that you have created an account, you should get started by importing your blog post into the Lumen dashboard.

You don’t need to go copy and paste the entire text from your blog. You can just get the blog URL and paste that into Lumen. Your text will be automatically found on the internet and brought into the video creation section.

3. Edit the Storyboard

If you’ve worked on presentation slides (using MS PowerPoint for example) before, you will find yourself more at home with Lumen’s storyboard. The ideal thing to do here is create your storyboard with as less words as possible.

Each slide will last about ten seconds and you don’t want your viewer having to pause on each slide. Remember that the aim of video content is to make your blog easier to view and more presentable, not make it even more confusing for the viewers.

Since it is not uncommon for blog posts to convey multiple ideas, we recommend that you choose an idea and build your content around it. To express the other ideas, you could make more videos.

4. Add Media

This is the point where Lumen allows you personalize things a little more. You could add an image (of you, your brand’s logo or any other thing) or video to the background of all that text.

You can also add a suitable background music if need be or go the way of voiceovers. If you are not comfortable with voicing your own video, voiceover artists can be contracted.

After finishing with the fourth step, you will be able to either post your video directly to Facebook or download it then upload to YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.

For content remarketing purposes, you can download your video from YouTube in other audio and video formats using a YouTube converter. This can then be shared on other platforms and even as podcasts.
