It’s Time to Go Wireless with Your Audio Feed

Unsurprisingly, one of the best things you can do for your modern listening experience is grab some true wireless earbuds for tether-free audio. Why?

Well, besides the fact that almost no one enjoys wrestling with long cords and tangling wires, wireless earbuds are incredibly easy to pair with multiple devices. Yeah, you can plug regular headphones into most devices via the AUX port, but you can also sync up wireless headphones with nearly any Bluetooth-enabled device be it mobile or otherwise.

Better yet, legacy devices are often supported at times through a small, optional adapter you can purchase separately.

If you’re wondering what wireless earbuds can do for you and your usual audio experience, read no further.

Benefits of True Wireless Listening

Ever been running in the park and trip or get tangled in the cords of your headphones? Ever been mowing the lawn and had to wrestle with a cord? Do you hate cords entirely?

Cords, wires and cables suck, there’s no question about it. But only going truly wireless, through something like Bluetooth headphones or earbuds is the real solution to such a thing. What’s the difference between headphones and earbuds, though?

Comparatively, the difference between “earbuds” and “headphones” is more obvious when you see them side-by-side, in regards to design. Headphones are generally bulkier and meant to be worn over-the-head or over-the-ear, whereas earbuds are more like hearing aids and simply slip inside the ear canals — Apple AirPods are a great example of this.

Aside from eliminating cords, though, the benefits of wireless listening aren’t necessarily apparent. Here are some of the benefits you can expect from earbuds:

  • Remote listening at a reasonable range, which means you can walk away from the device you’re connected to such as a smartphone or entertainment system.
  • Great battery life, with anywhere from three to six or more hours per charge.
  • Much more stylish and fashionable than bulky headphones
  • Great sound, including treble and bass
  • Can be used anywhere, anytime and are sometimes easily concealable
  • Often includes additional features such as an integrated mic for hands-free call support

Look for Advanced Features Too

On top of the more common features, there are often additional options you can take advantage of. The Samsung Gear IconX fitness earbuds, for example, include an integrated fitness coach that will provide exercise and activity recommendations based on your habits. It’s kind of like having a fitness-based voice-assistant inside your ear.

Believe it or not, many of the best true wireless earbuds out there include additional features outside of the norm, so it’s not something you necessarily have to look hard for.

Many include a hybrid charging and carrying case, internal storage for uploading music to the actual earbuds, and noise-cancellation support. Audio and wireless technologies have come a long way in recent years and it certainly shows in the earbud market.

Whatever you choose, you’re sure to have plenty of features and options to browse from virtual coaching support to ridiculous usage times 24-hours or more.
