Vlogging becomes very common where YouTube plays a significant role that provides an easy to become a star. You can assess the popularity of vlogging on YouTube by that the very first video uploaded on 23 April 2005 but this platform grows very rapidly and now it has almost 1300000k users. As per stats, almost 5 billion videos are being watched every day.

The guides are widely available on the internet that how you can start your vlogging journey like buying a vlogging camera, creating channels and find an appropriate editing software, etc.

But here I will discuss some crucial thing that you should consider before start recording and create content.

Do you really have sufficient time?

Often time’s channels are failed only because the vlogger doesn’t pay proper attention. As most of the people think that they can manage the vlogging as a part-time but they won’t consider all the activities include in creating content to uploading the finished video. Vlogging is a time-consuming process of shooting the videos, editing (takes a lot of time) and then uploading. One thing I want to say it doesn’t mean you can’t do the vlogging as a part-time. The best way is to schedule the like how many hours you invest in your channel and then most importantly stick to that plan. So you must decide about the time aspect.

Don’t forget about Funds

As we know most of the people start their vlogging to make money. But you must keep in mind that you will have to invest money before making money. You have to invest money in things such as a camera for vlogging and to be more professional you may need a proper studio with nice coloring scheme and backgrounds. Moreover, you will also need to spend the money on editing software, and powerful laptop and other vlogging equipment like mic and tripod, etc. Although you may record by using your smartphone camera but don’t forget a high-quality camera is a significant part of vlogging.

What should be my topic/niche?

Never choose a topic blindly like most of the beginners just start their journey based on the trends. You must select the topic you are passionate about because this will create your interest in it also you can come up with a new idea. On the other side, if you select the irrelevant topic just based on the trends, you may only get the audience for shorter terms. Also, you will soon get out of ideas or may get bored. So I strongly encourage you to pursue your passion, and this will be surely a crucial point to lead you to success.

What is my target audience?

Of course, after selecting the topic, you also need to determine the audience for which you are going to create the videos. Either you are going to create the videos for young or kids, i.e. age group of your target audience. Additionally, you may also need to know their interests. Knowing the target audience will allow you to design the contents effectively.

What is my mission?

If you don’t have the clear mission/goals, you may not have the enthusiasm. Deciding on the specific goals is a great path to achieve success. Moreover, you must commit to achieving the goal by determining the strategies. Here note that your initial goals should not be money focused instead it is more appropriate to get more subscribers. Also, at the start don’t set up bigger goals instead your bigger goals should be divided into multiple pieces.

You must decide on a specific uploading frequency, when to upload the video and then stick to that plan. This also your audience that when you will upload the video. Some vloggers increase the frequency of uploading like upload the videos on a daily basis for getting more subscriber; this might be effective, but I encourage to devise your marketing strategies instead of just focusing on increasing the content.

So when you consider about all the above mention factors and come out with a plan to deal with them, then there is no need to delay the vlogging idea, Start it now.
