GoLogin Browser

There are numerous anti-detect browsers on the market, and they vary in quality. The Octo Browser team monitors the competition, and this time, they found a browser that offers much of the same functionality – GoLogin. Let’s explore its features and compare them to Octo. Is it a good alternative?

GoLogin Browser

What Is GoLogin?

GoLogin is a multi-account browser available on PC, Mac, and mobile iOS and Android devices. It also has a cloud-based web version, but it can have only up to 4 online profiles with the most expensive plan. On the first startup, the users are presented with a questionnaire to explain what they’ll use the browser for, and the system adjusts the settings accordingly. Users also have free proxies in addition to paid ones. Overall, it’s a good choice for beginners who need to tweak everything for their specific needs.

Interface

GoLogin’s interface is minimalistic and designed with functionality in mind. Users manage their profiles via standard tags and create folders and workspaces, setting statuses for each individual profile. However, GoLogin lacks a proper proxy manager, and users have to manually connect proxies to each profile. The lack of this feature stands in contrast with the Octo Browser.

Digital Fingerprints

GoLogin and Octo have similar digital fingerprint spoofing. The main difference is the kind of devices they can emulate. Octo is limited to Windows, MacOS, and Linux, whereas GoLogin is also capable of emulating Android OS. The only downside is the lack of another QoL feature – profile templates. Users may set default parameters, but they’ll need to edit each profile’s fingerprint individually.

Bulk Operation, Automation, and Teamwork

Multi-account browsers must have a solid toolset to manage accounts in bulk, automate mundane operations, and allow working in groups. GoLogin doesn’t lack any of these features. It allows mass transfer, export, import, cloning, and deletion of profiles. Unlike Octo, GoLogin’s users can’t protect their profiles with passwords or manage multiple sets of cookies. It’s possible to run up to four profiles in the cloud, which is a passable substitute. GoLogin allows up to 20 team members per account, but they don’t have access to all the operations in the master account. It may impact productivity, but it’s an extra layer of security to avoid data leaks. As for automation, Octo Browser and GoLogin are similar and have no particular advantages over one another.

Security

GoLogin offers two-factor authentication. It is a solid security feature, but the lack of data encryption and additional password protection for each profile make GoLogin inferior in this category.

Overall, GoLogin is a solid anti-detect browser with a robust toolset and affordable pricing. Still, it lacks some quality-of-life features and has lower-quality digital fingerprints. But if you’re a beginner, it’s a good and relatively cheap investment.
